Company Story

 Big Wave Content was born out of firsthand experience. We weren’t “agency kids” — we were business owners who learned the hard way what works and what doesn’t. We tested everything on ourselves, refined a system that consistently drives results, and now we share it with the world through our agency services, online courses, and in-person bootcamps.

About the Team

John Efrati 

John grew up inside his mother’s New York restaurant, eventually helping grow it into four locations. He learned business by living it—operations, sales, people, pressure. In 2024, a chance encounter with a content agency lit the match. He became obsessed with storytelling, taught himself content strategy, and quickly went viral. Months later, he co-founded Big Wave with a mission to bring that same power to small businesses.

He now leads the company as CEO, with a deep focus on strategy, growth, and making sure every piece of content has a purpose.

Joycelyn Ector

Joycelyn started creating TikToks during downtime between shifts—and people noticed. She had her first daughter young, worked through school, and eventually found herself editing every day, just for fun. She met John working down the block from his restaurant, and their creative connection led to something bigger.

She’s now the force behind Big Wave’s viral short-form style. From trendspotting to editing, Joycelyn brings precision, speed, and originality to every piece of content we post.
